New Jersey Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards

Hollander has excelled at engaging stakeholders and building strategic partnerships throughout her nonprofit career, advocating at all levels to build support, develop relationships and make change. During her tenure as Director of Communications and Outreach for AJC NJ, she took on the challenge of building a statewide coalition of new voices advocating for the economics of immigration reform. When AJC NJ hosted a Summit on Immigration Reform in 2011, she leveraged the event to build a state-wide coalition of business, advocacy and inter-ethnic organizations as well as local and multi-national chambers of commerce which culminated in the founding of the annual New Jersey Immigrant Entrepreneur awards.

“Amy spearheaded the formation of the New Jersey Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards (NJIEA), bringing together civil and business leaders around the state to support bipartisan, comprehensive immigration reform.  Now going on its eighth year, the NJIEA stands apart, not only as an annual event that highlights contributions immigrants make as innovators, business leaders, and public interest advocates to our state and country, the Awards set an immigrant-embracing framework for civil engagement.
